Urban Beekeeping with Calm and Confidence

Since 2022, I’ve been partnering with Calm and Confidence, an Arkansas based, woman-owned business dedicated to community building and practicing the skills used in beekeeping: anxiety awareness, problem solving, and observation. Together we are building in image library to help pass the knowledge and traditions of beekeeping on to everyone who is interested in learning.

This body of work has deepened my appreciation for nature’s ecosystems and the essential role pollinators play in our environment. My goal with this long-term photo project is to shine a light on the tangible ways we can promote sustainability and activism in our own communities.
