Commercial photography with an editorial point of view
Hello! I'm Sara~ a commercial and editorial photographer based in Little Rock, Arkansas. I create vibrant, story-driven photography for brands, agencies, and publications, from food and travel, to creative portraits and lifestyle.
My love of nature, animals, and the environment steered my career path toward photographing groups and individuals doing tangible work in conservation and sustainability. Documenting our natural world and the people caring for it has been rewarding personally and professionally. Connecting with like minded clients, who trust me with their stories, keeps messages that matter the focus of everything I do.
With over 15 years of freelance photography experience, I am both highly collaborative and extremely self sufficient. I am a logistical thinker and a skilled problem solver. I like to be organized and have a controlled plan, get the safe shots, and then work with the scene to find fun and unexpected results.
Some people I've worked with: National Audubon Society, Sierra Club, Peloton, Merrell, Mountain Valley Water, CDI Contractors, Arkansas Tourism, Well+Good, Visit Hot Springs, Lost Forty Brewing Westrock Coffee, United For Respect, Arkansas Economic Development Commission, MFA Oil, Riceland, and The Historic Arkansas Museum.

I am a commercial photographer, which means I work mostly with businesses and individuals looking to promote products and services to their customers. This could be things like portraits of employees headshots for a website, branding libraries for social media, or shooting e-commerce product photography for online stores.
I also love working as an editorial photographer and have worked with print publications, non-profits, and local community resource groups photographing feature stories highlighting interesting people, places, and things.
In addition to work directly for businesses and publications, I also work with advertising agencies and marketing firms to create image libraries and ad campaigns for their client’s needs.
