Firelight Farm

This summer I was invited to spend a morning photographing at Firelight Farm in Searcy, Arkansas. Firelight is a no-till farm founded by Cory Babb and Lee Waters with the goal of bringing high quality produce to central Arkansas.

Before my visit, I asked Cory what story he wanted to tell about Firelight. To my delight he suggested we document the process of making their very popular harrisa spiced pickled carrots- a farmers market customer favorite. The photos below show the entire process from harvest to plate.

Firelight offers CSA farm share haul pick ups throughout the summer and can be found most weekends at the Hillcrest Farmers Market in Little Rock and other markets and community events around Central Arkansas.
